It's so interesting that sometimes there are some English words. When one speaks different languages usually he or she will show different personalities, like being more outgoing or more elegant. Soy is always so nice and warm no matter what language she is speaking

Interesting. I think it has to do with which source you learned that language from. For example I feel more outrageous when I speak English and that has to do, I feel like, with how I learned how to *speak* English from TV shows and such like many people I guess ^^

They were a bit sleepy, but they weren't drunk at all, but then they hear the taxi driver speaking to someone through the transmitter thingy saying "I think these female Koreans passengers are drunk af. I'm going to bring them to a sauna, meet me there." The driver didn't know Soy could hear him and could understand him, and Soy started to feel so scared. She said to her friend, in Korean, "Don't panic, when I say we're getting off, get off the car immediately" her friend was shocked bc she couldn't understand Tagalog, but she trusted Soy. So Soy said to the driver "We can get off here, manong" and then they got off the taxi.

I agree Whereas Tagalog is seen as the relaxing and soft-spoken Filipino language, Bisaya, my mother tongue, is basically seen as the harsh-sounding and hard-toned Filipino language. Hope Bisaya gets more recognition though.

I'm in the same situation but I'm full Filipino, born and raised in Canada. I could understand Tagalog but I can't form a sentence LOL. Who's the Filipino in your family? Mom or dad? I usually see that it's the mom of half Filipino children who are Filipino. (Not saying that it's a bad thing, I find it amazing and cool!)

You can learn it though. Tagalog seems really hard at first, but it's a rich and fun language. It's not actually my first language, as Bisaya, another Filipino language, is my mother tongue. So I struggled with it at first.

Nakakatuwa na malaman na marunong ka mag salita ng Tagalog 😊 sana makita kita sa September at mas marami ka pang ASMR na magawa sa future. Nakakatuwa rin na marami kang magagandang experiences dito sa Pinas pero meron talaga hindi lalo na sa mga lalake na ganun, advantage na matuto ng iba’t ibang language talaga for your safety na din. Nagttry din ako mag aral ng Korean Language pero nahihirapan pa ko pero sana matutunan ko din and maging magaling din ako like you ☺️

I've been watching ASMR for the past three years and I have never encountered anyone who speaks full on tagalog in her vids. This is why your Pinoy fans love you Soy! I know one Filipina ASMRtist pero di niya ginagamit tagalog. Tbh, she even has Korean titles on her vids. See? I mean, this is big deal coz we wanna watch a Filipino asmr vid too but we don't have much options, that's why I love you Soy! Sad medyo kasi a full Korean artist is what's making a Tagalog asmr but still happy because you never forget the culture and our language too ❤
