Founded in 1924 by National Artist for Music, Mr. Nicanor Abelardo along with his brother-in-law Ruperto E. Libunao, Banda 24 Biak-na-Bato (BNB 24 Band) is comprised of young, professional and non-professional individuals whose goal has been to give their humble contribution for the enjoyment and moulding of our society through music. As the sole marching band of San Miguel, Bulacan, it has been a great venue for the youth, the young and aspiring musicians in particular, towards honing their crafts, thus engaging in causes that will help in the preservation of our Filipino tradition of marching bands.
