Dont trip about names, some one some where will have your name, just try to avoid names already taken in your county. Dont trip on the rules, you'll focus too much on them and start to think that if you dont follow those "rules" youll be a "toy". Another tip, do not use the term toy, its derogatory for everyone. And the main rule is have fun, there will be crazy moments and crazy people, but just do your best to not keep.pushing.

Dude, Alone has sooo many tags in Stockholm, at great spots aswell. Being carefull is what will keep you going! How come? In Sweden they track your tags and try to get you for ALL of the shit you've done when you get caught. There's also vandalsquads and security groups just for graffiti. 1. you can have 3 crews and tag by yourself all the time, and it's not like he always tags with a cameraman there, obviously for purposes related with the short documentary he had to. and for 2. advertisement. if your tag is up on a blank truck well for sure it'll catch attention. you aren't really "messing with other people's livelihoods", just the company who actually owns the truck. so he didn't tag someone in particulars truck, it belonged to a corporation.

And from all the people using the work toy it has now turned into a work most commonly used by 'toys'. yes you may not like their flow, but all graffiti writes didnt start off having these amazing hand styles and the only way they can get out of the 'toy' phase would be to practice. It's funny how you mention anger and the need to get it out, I look at the comments below and I just kind of shrug at why people always gotta put their two cents in, and always try to be wise. I thought about how you tagged a van and how some of the architecture of the film was actually quite beautiful, and I questioned for a second how it must be unfortunate to have someone put their two cents and "degrade" your "property" or work you put into something, like the work done on bridges, etc. But then I look at it and I think of how beautiful it is. Graffiti is beautiful, and yes you might have to cross the line, I think about if my van was tagged, and I'd actually be proud. And I don't understand people... even throw ups, tags, or any sense of expression in the streets conveys a message. A beautiful message. Because I do not know that person, and that person does not know me, or anyone else it will reach, but regardless that message will be conveyed. And it is different to every singe person it touches.
