The taiga is the world's largest land biome.
The taiga is also called the coniferous forest or the boreal forest.
It is found below the tundra and includes Canada, Alaska, and Russia.
It is home to coniferous trees.
A coniferous tree keeps it's leaves for most of the year, and are needle-shaped.
