★★★ *FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE VIDEO / FACT UPDATES* ★★★ *1) Do the Staff at the park speak English?* - Not everyone, but there are those who can translate *2) Has anyone been killed by the Lions?* - Since 2012 when the park opened, no one has been killed by the Lions *3) Are the Lions put in cages at night when the visitors leave* - No they are left out to roam freely in the reserve, there is no reason to cage them at night, and some visitors don't leave they are staying in the parks hotel. *4) Is the park located in Crimea?* - Taigan Lions Park is located in the Crimean Peninsula, close to the town of Belogorsk. The nearest airport is Simferopol, about 55 km away. ★★★ *Answers to Questions from viewer of my video & visitor of the park - Angelina Gavdis* ★★★ Hey guys! Saw some questions down here in the comments regarding how the park is ran by its owner, so I'm here to explain stuff. In Russia/Ukraine it's all common knowledge since there's been lots and lots of government-issued check-ups and the Park never hides information. *1) Okay, so no one died, but there were injuries ?* Yeah, there was one (1) accident. One of the tourists didn't listen to the instructions (everyone reads & signs safety rules before participating) and touched the lion she wasn't allowed to. The guide knows which lions are safe to introduce to tourists and which ones are not. The tourist didn't listen, got bit, her wounds were superficial. There was a whole court case on the accident and the Park won. *2) Are lions drugged? They can't be this friendly ?* Firstly, most of the lions are brought up by the staff of the park. They're introduced to humans on early stages of their lives and they know people. Moreover, the owner is like their parent, they're calm with him around. Secondly, many lions and other animals are circus rescues. They spent most of their lives in awful conditions in captivity and the park's staff literally saved them from death. They're happy, free and grateful, they know these humans won't harm them. Thirdly, all lions are well-fed. They have no point in being unhappy/biting tourists unless something extremely stupid is done. *3) What is the park like?* I've been there, and let me tell you, it's one hell of an experience (just visiting the park, wasn't brave enough for safari). All animals are well-cared for, they have freedom and packmates, there are dozens (!) of cubs every year, all healthy.

@@WonderWorldYTC Still waiting on that answer. We all as animal lovers want to know, so I will respectfully ask it again. Housecats tend to be nervous and shy. Lions tend to be more confident. In the wild, few things frighten a lion. Humans, Elephants and perhaps other lions. When a cat feels 100% comfortable in their surroundings they tend to relax and be more friendly
@typhooonn5 жыл бұрын
@@nunyabiznez6381 I think the situation is quite different here in this park. Different from in the wild, the lions here almost never see any other animals except other lions. Also, they never hunt but fed by human being just like housecats. These lions don't have opportunity to learn that they are the king of animals, but rather they might think they are simply big cats raised by human beings. That said, psychologically wise, these lions are no different from housecats.

Eh my cat didn’t like to be hugged to but we coexisted 🤣. Like she loves pats and scratches but hate belly rubs and being picked up. Every cat is different. My cat, me and my little brother built a strong bond with her. I remember one time my brother was running through the house then stepped on some broken class. My mom has to pull it out of his foot and boy did he screamed like bloody murder 🤣. So the cat heard this and ran in the room where my dad was holding down my brother and my mom trying to pull the glass out. She kept jumping up and biting both my mom and dad and then watching if my little brother was alright 🤣. I had to pick her up and carry her out the room but she shot right back into the room and bit them until they stopped and by that time they got the glass out. Another time this stray dog was chasing me trying to attack me when I was coming home from school and she ran after that dog and she scratched it’s eyes. The dog ran away and she pridefully walked back to me for her head scratch... I usually either wake up with her sleeping besides my head or on my head 🤣. She was a stray adult cat that we took in and ever since then she became a part of the family. Even got some of my family that really hated cats or fear them to actually love them~

Which is why (God forgive me) I am overjoyed and rejoice when Rhinos and elephants kill the hunters that attempt to kill them for their ivory. And Lions that kill foreign hunters stalking and killing them for sport! Most recently, illegal White hunters were killed by Lions while they were illegally hunting Rhinos for their ivory. The only thing found left of them, were their guns, clothing and skulls. Natives said the hyensa ate their bones that the Lions left. How poetic!! Africans and even Carribean ppl thank the animals that have had to sacrifice their lives for their food. Or because they were killed to protect human lives or their herds threatened by them. I was recently disgusted to come across a picture of a White woman who'd killed a 15yr old rare Black giraffe for "sport" in Africa. Sitting proudly on its dead body, smiling. Claiming that the meat of the poor slain animal would be given to poor ppl to eat.😒😒😒 Have you EVER heard of Africans or ANYONE else eating giraffes? Only Lions and hyenas eat their meat. African animals numbers were decimated because of White Europeans and White American "sportsman and women." Black and white photos over the past two centuries prove that it was also the British Monarch's favorite activity. Even that old witch of a evil Queen thats still alive is responsible for alot of their deaths "for fun." So just like they celebrate killing ppl and animals, I rejoice over their deaths as well. May God have mercy on our souls.

I had a friend who worked in a zoo, he is an expert in animal behaviour. 2 years ago he was attacked by the same lion he used to take care for almost 3 years. While at the hospital he said that , no matter how friendly a wild animal might look, if he sense weakness in us then we are prey, the respect is lost and his natural instincts will kick in.... So being fearless infront of an animal is the best way to build trust and respect.... He died due to cancer. RIP

These Lions are very nicely sustained. Giving them that they can become docile & friendly. It's very important that the owner knows the personalities depending which Lions can be in human presence. Just like how Humans have schizophrenia & other mental conditions, even animals can have mental aspects of their personality that can be fatal. I can see they vet the aggressive ones enclosed separately away from human interaction. Very intelligent, yet careful with all of their Lions. We are learning. Very special. Out in the wild, no chance lol But an enclosure like this is truly amazing & the rangers are showing how it's done. Extremely well managed. 🦁♥️
