Excellent. This was the chen style sword form (jiàn) I was looking for. There's also a small broadsword (dao) form at the end of the video. Very nice to watch

Since it truly doesn't matter since the advent of guns, the applications are not taught as much. However, every teacher does usually teach applications. Again, irrelevant as you cannot practice the applications in real life, so we do forms instead. -Former multi-gold medalist and combined grand champion in Chen, Yang, hairstyle, Shing-Yi, Bagua, LiuHeBaFa, open hand and weapons. .

Dani Cano the major issue with speaking on application is that there can be 100 right applications for every move. It is more important to study the body dynamics than memorizing application.
