Yes! I was from Penglai and saw mirages a few times :-) This cane-routine is a combination of Taoist immortal cane application with Tai Chi. I practiced "Iron Cane Lee" zhang-fa in my hometown when I was a school boy.

With the cane, the form seems to make more sense to the untrained eye (such as mine :-) ). Good demonstration

A Campbell Cane could be an interesting senior defense device. I was asked last year about designing a cane that could be functional, artistic and defensive. The latest design fits this description. I was involved in martial arts in the 60's..now I am way over 60. I would not want to be on the other end.
