Taika Waititi reads an incredible letter written to a dear friend.
In 2003, as she approached the end of her life, celebrated theatre director Clare Venables received the following letter from her dear friend, Peter Thomson.
Taika joined us @kokocamden to read it at a special fundraising edition of Letters Live in support of @thekokofoundation, a registered charity dedicated to changing lives and creating transformative opportunities.

Taika didn’t abandon his kids. His job requires him to constantly move and his kids asked to stay behind so that they didn’t have to change schools and leave friends. He brought them to his sets multiple times before when they were younger, but they’re at the point where they need stability, which is fair
