[Taiko no Tatsujin 3DS1] All Bosses on Medium

Sorry for the bad footage. I don't have a 3DS capture card, so I took this with the camera from another 3DS.
Also, I made a misnomer in the song used in the battle with Ralco; it's actually Requiem from Dies Irae / Messa De Requiem. Sorry for the mistake!
This was done in the order of orbs gained. I was careful not to use an orb I couldn't when I made this. It was played on the Medium Hot difficulty.

This was done on my main profile where I already beat the game, so there are two Ralcos in the first fight and Alto prefaces each boss battle.

Raruko is the romaji, and Ralco is a bit more Anglicized. I tend to use Raruko in favor of Ralco. (Update 03/04/18: I’ve been using Ralco a bit more frequently recently.)

Nothing on the internet tells you what all the orbs do, but I know a couple off the top of my head. *Fire:* Direct damage. *Shadow:* Turns Bombs against your enemy. What I could gather from this video: *Water:* Damage.

I thought there was an article somewhere on the Taiko Time blog that explained the orbs, but I’d have to go back and look for it. Even so, I explained each orb in another comment, and I’ll repeat it here: *Fire:* Immediate, direct fire damage *Leaf:* Cancels note chart modifiers *Water:* Immediate, direct ice damage *Rock:* Makes large notes more powerful *Lightning:* Immediate, direct electric damage *Wind:* Makes all notes more powerful, increases scroll speed *Dark:* Temporarily sends Bombs to your enemy

I find the mommy bear BOSS to be scary beacause of the music.listen carfuly and you will here screaming and listen to those background TRACKS! Sounds like something from I nightmare the words that sound fitting is hiding from momo in a place that you don't understand

I did some looking into it, and unfortunately, the VA for Ataru is not the same as the singer of Ashumo's song. I haven't seen Urusei Yatsura, so I can't compare voices between the two. Sorry.

I know this is late but... When I was a kid I'm scared of the second phase of Maou. I asked my dad just to beat it. Now my 3ds broke I can't play again. :( But the nostalgia tho...

I think the Switch game will only feature the second and third 3DS games, and the first one will be left out. It is pretty unfortunate, as I'd like to see this game localized. However, even if it did feature the first game, I'd definitely see about fixing the 3DS anyway in case you want to play other games. And I didn't mean to discontinue my playthrough. After recording 13 episodes' worth of content, I had a sizeable backlog to upload, which would take a while, so I waited until it was through to continue playing/recording. Instead, I just didn't really get around to it. However, for quite a while, I have been thinking of picking it back up and finishing what I started, but first, I'd like to figure out an improved setup and de-rust at the game a bit.

I'll probably make a video of this sometime, but for now, I hope a written explanation will do: The Fire Orb unleashes a fiery attack on your foe at some point in the fight. This is especially helpful against plant-based enemies. The Leaf Orb cancels any note chart modifiers, such as increased note speed or random note patterns, that your foe gives you. The Water Orb unleashes an icy attack on your foe at some point in the fight. This is especially helpful against fire-based enemies. The Rock Orb turns large notes into boulders which, when hit correctly, deal more damage than a typical large note would. The Lightning Orb unleashes an electrical attack on your foe at some point in the fight. This is especially helpful against water-based enemies. The Wind Orb increases note speed but makes all notes slightly more powerful. It's a decent trade-off for people who can read notes quickly. The Dark Orb, my favorite, sends bombs to your enemy instead of you for a short while starting at some point in the fight.

This game is available for Nintendo 3DS consoles in Japan, so if you live in Japan, go to your local retailer and get a 3DS and this game (or an eShop card with enough funds for it). If not, get the game online and either import a 3DS to go with it or modify one from your region to remove the region lock. I chose to import this game and a 3DS because I live in the US, and I didn’t want to take a risk with the 3DS I already had.
