It was originally in the Children & Folk genre though ever since Drum Session! on PS4 in 2017 (as Session de Do-don ga Don!) they got rid of it. (most likely to not deter newer players from not touching the genre due to thinking it'll just have easy songs.... also it'll just be embarassing to be playong and someone walks in on you playing Jingle Bells) so they dissolved it into other genres like Variety for songs like 'HELLO KITTY' on PS4 or Classical for something like 'Joy to the World' hope this'll be of use... yes I know I'm commenting this on a 3 yr old post!

I’m so happy years ago I stole my dads copy of taiko and played it on the PSP. I used to play taiko on the Wii and PlayStation VITA but my Wii was old and we lost the cords for it and my PlayStation Vita got lost. My favourite was the Wii as it had so many good songs and amazing mini-games (when I saw that honeybee was on the switch version I freaked out!). Now I mainly play on the PS4 and my dad has bought almost all the DLC for it (bc it was on sale). I like playing the Switch one but I just don’t like the online features all too much which was something I always play on the PlayStation. With PlayStation, you verse people’s ghosts and it can be any song, with Switch however you can only play some songs per week at random. Just a rant story thing idk

I've been playing this game on the psp and wii for so long, but playing it on the wii felt weird and my psp is slowly dying :( i got the switch solely for this game lmao. It's def a little more difficult as the buttons don't feel very satisfying when playing it but hey, it's good enough. At least they kept the evangelion op so i'm happy.

You mean Odore Dore Dora Doraemon Ondo? That has nothing to do with Dora the Explorer. I'm not mad, it's a common mistake. It's from Doraemon, a anime made in 1979. And Doraemon has nothing to do with Dora the Explorer. But Dora did have a Japanese dub at some point

To be honest, I make up my own soundtracks to these drum games. If they could use them, then it'd be more fun. I mostly add rock songs but I also used pop, R&B, disco, metal, dance, new wave, alternative, and a little bit of rap, country & reggae. I've included music I don't normally listen to but I thought it would please other people.
