This is a legitimate procedure. Hurt my back lifting in the late 80s and could barely walk. My coccyx was curled up like a fish hook and this is exactly what they did to correct it. Needless to say… I hopped my ass up off the table quickly. Haven’t forgotten how to lift properly since.
