Old school. That smile on your face on that tight turn explains why we ride.

If you people ever come to Europe, please check in Romania ,, Transfagarasan,, one of the wildest roads in the world, with a car or even best on a bike. It can be viewed on KZbin for a glimpse.

Thanks for that bit of info. I will check it out. I have an R1150RT now and will be riding the Dragon soon. I live about 80 miles away. One more trip to Europe is on the Bucket List. Must see the Isle of Man TT, and must tour Europe by motorcycle. That's the plan.

I used to ride 1150RT also. Kind of heavy but pretty comfortable. The only problem might be to need enough space and very calm situation to ride. In we Japan K1200RS was better I personally felt, especially in large cities.

I'm not sure what the technique of leaning your torso the opposite direction of your motorcycle in a rolling curve is all about.

I was thinking of posting the same...

Agree with this comment. Makes the motorcycle lean further.

I wish our "Twisted Sisters" (or "Three Sisters") had better pavement. That seems to be one of the biggest differences between Texas Twisties & the Dragon's Tail. The Sisters are located in a fairly remote part of West Texas, subject to flash flooding, & not very well maintained...

Sehr schönes Video. Was hast du an der BMW im Cockpit angebracht? Die Ablage für die GoPro etc.? Wie hast du das verwirklicht? Und bringen die zusätzlichen Spiegel was, oder ist das Standard in USA bei BMW?
Nice set up, the motor home and a nice bike. Take it down a notch and work on your technique, I don’t want to see you get hurt. A bit jerky and quick instead of smooth. Speed comes later.

Great video... but are you REALLY leaning your body the opposite way through each turn - or is that my imagination? If so, the real focus here is how you have been able to ride home without a visit to the hospital for yourself and the local BMW dealer for a grotesque amount of fairing replacements! Rock ON unorthodox man!

I am very interested in buying thus same bike. Question: How tall are you, and can you reach the ground flat-footed?
@genezeigler22522 жыл бұрын
I am selling one just like this now on marketplace NC.
@jameswaterhouse-brown66462 жыл бұрын
Hi Lawrence I just bought one. I am about 172cm tall. I have the seat on the lowest setting and I can’t flat foot the bike. More like balls of the feet which is ok. Takes a bit of getting used to and a bit of care when coming to a stop. Very comfy bike easy riding bike that is stress free body wise. You can also lower the bike further with different shocks apparently.

How do you know the toothbrush was invented in Tennessee? If it was invented anywhere else it would have been called a teethbrush 😂

Sorry, but you urgently need to work on your driving style. Your lines and your seating position in the curves are horrible. Work on it so you don't eventually end up in a ditch or in oncoming traffic.

Do you suffer from delusions of persecution or why all the mirrors
@jasonjackson56964 жыл бұрын
What a stupid comment, paranoia would have been a much better choice. However, wanting better visibility to the rear isn’t a bad thing at all & the stock mirrors sit pretty low.
@Tax2Me3 жыл бұрын
The extra set of mirrors are convenient to cover dead spots. Either set should do. I ride same bike. The only reason i don’t have the GS mirrors is that they interfere with tight turns and add distraction
@KDFRxpo23 жыл бұрын
Motor home? Trailer? WTF? And there are two sets of rear view mirrors on your bike... this video is about rubbing people’s noses in your wealth that’s it. Not impressed dude. 🤦🏼♂️
@gerardc792 жыл бұрын
Nothing wrong with the extra mirrors. There's a fairly big blind spot on the RT with the originals
