Hey Sara, ticks don't fly, if there's trees around they like to drop in, or get on your dogs. If your walking thru tall grass and wear calf length white socks to defend yourself' easy peezy. I despise ticks too. Good job on your video work, I'm gonna build my own highlander starting next summer. Yeeha design, only she'll be named Audrey

They seemed a bit fast for ticks. Also, you weren't walking in forest or long grass, so it would be weird to pick up ticks there.

Bart Yeehaw 8 is definitely the best Highlander I’ve ever built so that is the one I like flying the most. I still have YH6 that I built in 2018 although I really should sell it. I sold YeeHaw 7 a couple years ago.

I was in an outdoor traditional archery 3-D tournament and faked brushing off a tick on my competitor and saying how bad they are here to try to get inside his head! Once you start thinking about ticks, you can suddenly feel (imagine)them crawling on you from that point on.😎

It was fun to talk to you guys in Reno last year! We will really miss Reno! 😢 I just don’t think NM is going to be the same. Maybe it will take a few years and be okay? Question: Do you prefer drags on dirt or a paved rnwy?
@SteveHenry6 ай бұрын
As far as the Racing itself, I like it equally well on pavement or grass or dirt. I do like it when we don’t have a whole bunch of dirt blowing around and everything doesn’t get all filthy like it does out in the desert.

I was sitting in my living room when you started showing those ticks and it was an hour before I quit feeling them on me!!! 🤨 The power of suggestion is easy for hypochondriacs like me!!!!! 🙄🤣😂 PS I hope the engine is not hurt to bad!!!🤔

They should make an engine swap an obligatory part of the competition , I mean this a back country inspired competition where anything can and probably will happen ,so swapping an engine out so as to make it home for tea [ or wolves come to visit ,].is a must have skill set .??. . Still wonder why they haven't got air brakes like gliders ,to slow down ,or are they not allowed ?.
@SteveHenry6 ай бұрын
Steve does have some spoilers the he can deploy that act as air brakes! They work really well. -Sara
@johnmarkgatti33246 ай бұрын
@@SteveHenry good to know , i was a bit surprised that no one seemed to be using them , I did a little gliding ,and slowing down with no engine was oddly rather important , the air brakes really worked .[ are they allowed jtol ?? ,i'm joking Steve looks busy enough controlling that beaste as it is !!].

No need to send extra time with the fancy production. Any true pilot or even true aviation fanatic just wants to see and hear airplanes. No music. Just airplanes and airplane noises. I know you probably get a lot more views with the fancy stuff but airplane people don't care. I know that me personally, have quit watching and following some famous u tubers because it's become too much about advertising. I want simple aviation content without all the musicians dancing. Not knocking your production Sara but if you simply stay stretched too thin trying to stay caught up, us true fans really don't need the extra work if I would save precious time. I know in my world time is money. Anyway, thank you for everything you do to share this with pilots like me that are truly inspired to do this but can't afford to come see it in person or have time to. One of these days I will. Building my own stol bird right now and working 7 days a week.
