What a fun event. Steve; you know you will always be right there at the top, but you can't win them all. It's not that big of a deal in the big scheme of things. You're surrounded with he best pilots of your kind. Enjoy what you're doing is what's most important. I'll always be a fan no matter where you place.

Congratulations Steve!! Always a pleasure to watch you work. I guess I have a problem with an ultra light being in an airplane competition of any kind. No certificate needed to fly one, etc.. Part 103 aircraft should have their own class IMHO. Also, how about let’s be clear on where a scratch is every time. On the line??? Or must be over the line. Why can you start with a wheel on the line on take off but landing in the line is now a scratch? Sorry Steve! You’re still the best in my book!!!

It’s going to be fun to see what Steve does to his aircraft so he can beat Dan! That’s some pretty incredible competition.

I'd love think that if your premier class includes a dude in a wheelchair, and Justin takes out a place, then the least the organisers could do would be to either provide a ramp or lift him up onto the podium. He earned that placing, he deserves to receive his honours on the rostrum like everybody else, not sitting down half hidden from view!

Steve, many congratulations on your championship -- well deserved! Are you wondering about the role played by aircraft geometry is these last races? The pusher config can brake as hard as wanted without worrying about a prop strike, and the engine weight is cantilevered way aft to keep the tail down. Are there offsets in takeoff performance to having a pusher? YeeHaw is the ultimate in its tractor configuration, but you might design something even more STOL capable.

Hard to believe a Chinook is in the same class as the reat of these experimentals. How are these classes divided? Good season, Steve
