TWO REQUESTS BELOW: First, love your reviews, kudos for telling us your test rider weight and variety of scenarios. I have found that 200 lb rider gets 80% of the claimed range and top speed. 1) Could you include some pedaling in difficult situations like deeper sand, a steep hill, or pedaling in 7th gear to sustain speed? I would like to hear what your experience is like for those short as-needed bursts, and which gear you used. 2) Range anxiety: could you include a little pedaling with engine OFF, to tell us what it would be like if we messed up and had to pedal the last couple of miles home?

09:25 - As I listen, I believe I can hear the big battery rattling inside the top tube when you rode it off the road. That was a lot of clattering. Perhaps that's why the lube was on the battery? It looks optimized for smooth surfaces. The vibration of the plastic to aluminum, and as it collects dust, it may cling to that goo that was on your hands. I reason that's bad call for longevity and maintenance. Unless you keep it on paved surfaces. This makes me think, it would be cool to hear just the bike sounds as you bounce on a bumpy surface with these. Like a twenty second part with just the sound of the bike on a bumpy trail so we can hear what it sounds like to ride it. The rattle of this one and your hands from the battery lube alerted me.

Thanks for your feedback on the sounds test off road, I’ll remember this on future rides. It’s tough to know what people want to see and what will drop audience retention. The rattling may have been the kickstand also, it’s a common place of rattle, I’m not saying it wasn’t the battery though, you may be right

@@TailHappyTV You know, my bikes don't have kickstands so I didn't even think of that. But then, I see two sources. If the battery rattles, is not somehow snug inside the tube, I would be concerned about that. Kickstand would be fine. Thanks for you additional thoughts and feedback. I'm zeroing in on an Adventure 2.

I got this bike last week and unfortunately it was missing some tools and the rear wheel came off on the first test. Didn’t even make it out the drive way..now it’s showing a E5 malfunction on the display and I haven’t been able to test the electric ride yet😢

😯 holy smokes dude, hope you’re ok and they get it fixed for you. I think I’m going to start double checking that rear wheel bolt torque, I usually just trust it tight

I do like the clean look of integrated batteries but the only issue will be finding a replacement in the future compared to the generic 'shark' style batteries that are relatively cheap and available everywhere.

not a fan of the style nor the weight balance from having the battery high and in the rear. if an integrated battery doesnt look nice or stealthy, theres no reason to do it.

kickwey k20 has better torque and speed and is cheaper. only downside is the brakes arent good and seat is too high

Fischer Price and cheap plastic are two words that do not belong together. FP's stuff is built very, very well. They are designed for kids at an age where they drop stuff a lot and put things in their mouth. Having a cracked plastic in a toddler's mouth would not go over well.
