some people just like older civics, some may be bummy others may not. i have an 08 accord that was 24k but price doesnt really matter when it comes to different years. i would still like to have a 93 eg and mod it because civic has the largest demand for after market parts so you have alot of different things to choose from. it's engine was swapped for something that didn't fit under the hood. This is why you see huge hood cowls on older muscle cars. it's either cut a hole in the hood or get a taller hood with a bulge there.
