if arms are put infront and at the back of the shoulder and the back the material feels thigh does that mean that the jacket is small?

He should switch to a 42. Taking in is much easier than letting out.

hello, I have an MTM suit. When I try to button my suit, i see there is a little chest break (even though it still looks fine). Do you have any advice on how to fix this? Is widening the sides gonna solve the problem? Thanks.

@@rayadisurya7343 The drop simply indicates the waist size of the pants relative to the chest size of the jacket. Typically "trimmer" suits have a more aggressive 7 inch drop, however the suit drop does not actually tell you anything about the cut, pattern or styling of the suit pants or suit jacket.

I have the same problem on a sports coat I love but I’ve been told that the chest pop can’t be corrected. If you’ve heard otherwise I’d like to hear because I’m keeping my jacket no matter what.

Hi John, unfortunately it is not possible to adjust a suit jacket at the shoulders if it is too small. The suit jacket point-to-point measurement at the top of the shoulders is a foundational part of a tailored garment and cannot be increased.
