I know how it feels like! Some exes might go invisible (if it's the first one) so that they waste ur time. If it makes u feel better you could glide and try to shoot (maybe this would work). And don't forget the shot goes instantly with no delay so you can have your cursor on him and it would still stun him (as I saw from the feedback in the server). Try to stay as calm as possible and make sure to practice

As a Mobile Tails main I recommend use Crosshair system when sonic is far away and use tap system when he is at close range

Lock in and jump + glide away. Simple as that. The guide itself lacks quite a ton of info. All I did was just teach the basics ykykyk😭

also if you think exe is too fast, wait for him to lunge, and shoot him, when he lunges, he gets slowed, (for a bit), about 1.5 secs, so use that wisely.
