There are a lot of theories going around about Sonic.EXE before.Some saying it's Sonic being possessed,a new powerful Eggman robot(which doesn't make any sense since robots don't bleed) and Zalgo taking Sonic's form and killing all his friends.But,I think the most accurate one is Sonic.EXE is a being that was created in a void outside and far off from our universe.He didn't really had a physical form at the time,until he discovered our universe and the blue blur himself.He became a fan of him that he even made it's own physical appearance look like him.And because of that,it's safe to say it's not the real Sonic.It's just a big fan of Sonic,who copied his physical form,and killing his friends for more power. This is for tails question for what Sonic.EXE is. Sonic.EXE is sonic, just taken by an unknown force or demon. Some versions say it is a creature known as EXE. EXE takes over famous and normally friendly characters and transfers them to a evil and demonic version that takes huge amounts of radiation or a very powerful weapon to destroy. EXE then commands them to kill all of their friends, family, or other characters that they are closely connected to. Then EXE destroys that universe taking the EXE from it. EXEs are also able to transfer other characters into more EXEs but they are destroyed along with the universe. They are not taken with EXE to conquer other universes or dimensions. Yeah, it isn’t that happy of an explanation. But EXEs are that way.
