It’s no so much that Cream is losing her innocence and is getting corrupted by Shadow and is getting increasingly rebellious. Quite the opposite, really. It’s more that she admires and respect Shadow so much that she’s inspired by him. To her, Shadow is literally her hero and she was be to “just like him” because she admires how cool he is. Most 6 year old kids have very idealistic high views of their heroes and tend to emulate everything they say and do out of context. It’s not uncommon, for example, for a 6 year old girl to start quoting verbatim lines from their favorite character off of their favorite Disney movie out of context. It’s not until she reaches middle school till Cream starts getting rebellious and goes through a Goth phase, lmao.

@@Diztopia436 haha. It might not happen! But that's just how child psychology works. In elementary years (Ages 6 - 10), children tend to view the world VERY idealistically. They're so trusting that they tend to no find any flaws at all in those who they perceive to be as their heroes. Their parents, in particularly, are considered to be their role models who can absolutely do no wrong. The reverse is true in secondary school where they start seeing the flaws in their parents and teachers and so, their faith is shattered and now they overly critical of the world around them. To be fair, I do think that Cream is a very good girl and I suspect that when she grows up, despite her being slightly rebellious or annoyed with her mother, I don't think that she'll ever get as edgy as Shadow or Rouge is. I don't see evidence of a potential "Goth Cream" either, but I just put that in because I think it's funny. No, I think that she'll likely grow up to be a shy and sweet wallflower. The most "rebellious" action I can possibly see her taking is her sneaking off with a "bad bunny" that intrigues her and that she falls in love with. (Think Lady and The Tramp). Why a bad bunny? Because they say that ladies marry their fathers and gentlemen marry their mothers and we all know who Cream's father is. :)

While none were featured in this particular video, I really like the images where Shadow is teaching Cream how to use guns. It's a mixture of edgy and wholesome that's both extremely rare, but also very enjoyable. And it seems like a natural extension of both of their personalities too: Cream wanting to try something Shadow enjoys, and Shadow being a responsible psuedo-parent with Cream. I actually see the same dynamic between Cream and Doomguy, except Doomguy used to have a pet rabbit called Daisy, so it has more complexity to it. Shadow and Cream are just a naturally fun duo.
