To put it simply, when the concentration of power is in the hands of leaders perceived as corrupt, especially when influenced by foreign funding, poses several risks to a country's governance and stability. Firstly, when power is centralized, leaders operate without adequate checks and balances, making it difficult to hold them accountable for their actions. This can lead to corruption and misuse of power. Moreover, If the judiciary is under the influence of the executive, it will fail to act independently in upholding the law and protecting citizens' rights, acting as a mere puppet at the hands of the establishment. Also, the perceived corruption and foreign influence has abolished any public trust in the government institutions. Naturally, when citizens believe their leaders are not acting in the nation’s best interests, it will lead to apathy or unrest. Similarly, concentrated power often leads to political instability. If leaders are seen as illegitimate or corrupt, opposition groups may mobilize, potentially leading to conflict or unrest. This is worsened by the dependence on foreign funding which compromises national sovereignty. When leaders prioritize foreign interests over local needs, it creates a disconnect between the government and the populace. As seen since the inception of Pakistan, corruption coupled with concentration of power only exacerbates social and economic inequalities. As power dynamics are skewed and resources are misallocated or siphoned off, the disenfranchised populace feels increasingly marginalized, leading to social unrest.

The conclusion is that Might is right, no rules of law, no development, no education, and no health, so no prosperity. Ashrafia is in a win-win situation. The demise of PTI is eminent and non conscient leadership will be in power.

very disappointed with Tamiur over his analysis of no confidence movement... it was about extension of army chief... thats why facts are more important than opinion
@Taimur_Laal
@Taimur_Laal 5 сағат бұрын
General Qamar Javed Bajwa received his extension as Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff in August 2019. Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government granted him a three-year extension, citing regional security concerns, particularly related to Kashmir and the U.S.-Afghan peace process . However, this extension was later challenged in the Supreme Court of Pakistan, leading to a legal review. Ultimately, the court granted him a six-month extension in November 2019 and directed the government to formalize the process of extending an army chief’s tenure through legislation . Khan sb was not the obstacle to Bajwa’s extension.

With due respect Sir, you have stated completely wrong facts here. Vote of no confidence against Imran Khan was not an organic motion by the opposition parties; rather, it was Gen Bajwa's establishment that was the main architect of that move. It was the establishment that prodded and convinced the opposition alliance to launch that motion. Besides, it was actually the establishment that arranged the numbers for PDM. This fact has subsequently been proved by the public statements of the then key politicians from the opposition including Khwaja Asif and the chief of PDM Maulana Fazlur Rehman himself. Secondly, if it was Faiz Hameed who made Imran Khan into a popular politician that he is today, then why his popularity didn't dissipate once he was removed from power after the transfer of Faiz Hameed from the ISI? Also, Ik wasn't even half as popular during Faiz Hameed's tenure in ISI as he is today. If history is any guide, artificially propped up popularities are never sustainable and fade away as soon as the impetus is removed.

@@sohrabmohammad2822 the answer to the first question is that in fact the PDM had been working towards a vote of no confidence since the day IK’s gov was created. If you recall IK called for a vote of confidence on March 6th 2021. He won it by only 6 extra votes (172 was needed he got 178). He was already on shaky ground. PPP agreed to power sharing arrangement in Sindh with MQM. That destabilised PTI. I’ve made videos on this in the past. You can search and watch them. The only hurdle was that army was against PDM. But as they inched closer and IK put more and more pressure on army to use their power to stop the PDM, the alliance of PTI and army broke. Second question has a straight forward answer: if economic conditions had improved since Khan’s ouster people would have moved on. But they got worse. That is why his popularity (which actually declined while he was on power) once again rose after being wrongly imprisoned. PTI has been persecuted by a regime that has made the economic situation worse. And that is why lots of people have turned back to PTI.
@sohrabmohammad2822
@sohrabmohammad2822 4 сағат бұрын
@@Taimur_Laal Exactly Sir, PDM was contemplating to oust IK right from the start while being in cahoots with General Bajwa. Khawaja Asif has publicly stated that in the first quarter of 2019 the then DGI offered us to form govt in Punjab and to take over the federal govt by the end of that year. The meeting was held at Ijaz Amjad's house, who happens to be Bajwa's father in law. We should keep this in mind that Bajwa was appointed after his father in law extensively lobbied for his ascension with the the then PM Nawaz Sharif. Even before the 2018 election, Bajwa had kept his options open. Shahbaz Sharif has stated in a live interview that he was invited by Bajwa and was asked about the names of his prospective cabinet. Then on the eve of 2018 election IK had clearly won a simple majority, but RTS was deliberately made to glitch on Bajwa's order and in the meantime election results were managed in such a way that a hung parliamemt emerged out of it and Khan was forced to form a coalition government. Bajwa had to return his favour to Nawaz Sharif at some stage. If thing weren't already cooking between PDM and Bajwa, why did the pml n vote for his extension in the parliament? Infact, PDM itself has its genesis in the connivance of the establishment. And lastly, will you deny the existence and contents of the cipher? All of these developments are interlinked like a thread of pearls. It doesn't take a 'Metternich' to connect dots and understand this entire episode of Pakistan's chequered political history.

Dr Laal, plz correct these points, First it was Bajwa(And A few generals) were solely against Imran Khan and designed to topple the Government with the help of other parties and off course it was not an organic movement, secondly plz don't mislead people by claiming that elections were delayed by Kakar government because of poor economy, Is economy good today, plz remove your bias against PTI, and finally judicial activism was a thing of the past and a drama hosted by Saqib Nisar and finally it was very sad you didn't lament over the sabotage of one of the pillars of democracy, I wonder then how you claim to be a Marxist leader of the poos of Pakistan
