@@gordonfreeman336Because during WWII, Japan army never did any horrible things to us. Japan controlled Thailand but never manipulate nor acted like they were our bosses or colonizers. They treated us with respect. Then, during the industrial era of Thailand(70’s), Japan opened many factories in Thailand, hired Thais, trained us, taught us the way to do things excellently like them. Japan even gave Thailand the soft loans to develop our infrastructures. Our monarchies have had such strong and close relationships. So Thailand grew up thinking well of Japan as our “friend”. In fact, Japan helped many SEA countries during 70-90’s. But due to the old wounds, not so many of them felt grateful to Japan.

@@RapassaKhantiwong Thank you for your reply. Many Japanese people visit Thailand for sightseeing, and we also welcome Thai people come to Japan. Several soccer players from Thailand play in the J League, and Black Pink's Lalisa Manobal is also popular in Japan. Bua Nalinthip is still not well known in Japan, but I think she is very cute. I'm glad that she frequently visits Japan. I hope that we will continue to interact with each other.🙏
In Thailand, Japan is the main destination that Thai people want to travel to. And every province has Japanese food sold widely. You can find Japanese food everywhere in Thailand. Thai people really like Japanese food, and so do I

I'm a Japanese man though, I love Thailand and Thai people very much. Because general Thai people are gentle and tender. I personally think that most of Thai people are Buddhist. I think that's the biggest reason.
There is a Japanese-style Thai temple in Suphanburi province named Manekineko Land Temple. It's a temple that children really like because it has Japanese cartoons and Japanese cats.
