Not as bad as Seeing Double, honestly. One good bomb upgrade and you're set. I got blood bombs on the first floor, which meant that the Forgotten constantly had a lake of blood around him that took care of almost every enemy type.

I ended up doing it surprisingly easily in my second try (days after I tried it for the first time and went... well that's gonna be an absolute pain in the ass), and without a particularly good build. Guess I kinda went zen mode with a "just be done with it" outlook. Then there was seing double. Fuck that shit. At leasy 8 or 10 tries, until I got the angel flamethrower, and suddenly it was a free challenge (thank goodness for that. That challenge... Fuck that challenge)
