Hey Ace, what cards would you recommend for Kwang? I've tried a damage build but haven't had too much success. So what would you suggest for the current meta? Thanks and I appreciate the content :)
@RGSACE937 жыл бұрын
Damage with tank, build some health as well. You want to be the frontline for your team, so cards like Eldermage are good as well. Finding the balance is tough, I like to go early game damage with mask and then late game tanky

I have a question, hoping Ace or anyone else can chime in here. What's the goal with this build? Why would I choose this build over Tempered (12), Eldermage Amulet (8), Radiant (14), Ward (6), Thickblood (13), Tainted (7). With that build I get 3k hp and 128 basic armor, still having the tainted and radiant on deck. With hemo and satori I get 2600 hp with NO armor. Can someone explain to me why the trade off is worth it? Thanks.
@FallenAeon017 жыл бұрын
I think it is mostly under preference. Many cards are situational, for instance Hemorrage can be helpful for Grey because of the innate lifesteal or speed it gives, and the active is good for chasing weak heroes for their kill cxp as it gives you more movement speed and attack speed. Kind of like a... "You are not escaping that easily." statement to the matter. Satori Cloak is almost the same story, having an innate attack speed that you can build on. But the passive shines, as Grey is reliant mostly on his basic attack. If you shred 50% of their armor, it helps immensely. Especially against others who build for basic armor, like some Kwang players, many tanks, etc. In a scenario lets say you are against a Sev that has 150 Basic Armor, end game. Under normal circumstance you can hit within a range of around 50-150 damage, depending on whatever you build with. But with Satori that instantly allows you to do 100-300 damage instead, which is far more helpful in taking the tank down than prior when it is more immune to your basic. But like I said, many cards are situational. The ones that arent are the ones most people choose to side with, such as power, power, power.

can anyone please explain to me what the use of the ward is he places at the start of the game
@kevinsap12457 жыл бұрын
Madmax 9611 well a ward stays for 3 minutes so that way you can place a ward, have vision early gamr but go back and start with your start items while you still have vision early
@madmax-ht3zh7 жыл бұрын
Kevin Sap but why on that spot. Why not place it on the river at the edge the jungle so u can immediatly see it when you are getting ganked. The only way he could see if he was getting ganked was when the rampage tried to hit his rock throw. pretty bad spot if you ask me mid would benefit from it though.
@RGSACE937 жыл бұрын
I placed the ward there because I want to provide vision for my midlaner, most teams value the midlaner over their offlaner. Also remember that most offlaners have a form of reliable escape, greystone leap, Feng dash, Sevarog dash whereas a midlaner doesn't always...heroes like Fey, Morigesh, Belica.

RGSACE thats true. Btw RGSACE im using your kallari build from a video u uploaded 3 months ago and i love it. Im putting pressure everywhere on the map and winning most of my games with often more than 20 kills per match almost a master kallari now so thanks for that 👍

kenneth quigley damn... well, in ps4, when you press and hold that big ass rectangular button on the middle of the controller, it opens a screen in which you can see how many minions last hits/kills/deaths/assistances any player had up to that moment, it also lets you see their levels, how many cp they have used, how many they have in total and their build. I don't know how it is on pc though
Thanks for the reply bud. So I guess the order for early game is dependant on how the game is going?

I'm 'average/good' solo queue for over a year and think my elo hovers around 1450. Game is actually a lot easier in solo once you go UP in elo. If my elo slips I find it much harder playing with people who don't know what the heck they are doing. At 1400-1500 you are with other 'average/good' players.

these builds don't seem good on paper.. can someone explain how it's so good? these are pros so they obviously know what they're doing, but when I look at them I'm like "why?"
@theboykingtutexumte23277 жыл бұрын
matt wilson there isn't any type of objectively good decks( at least when two people with the same amount of cards and deck knowledge are involved) really its all about the team comp and the role you WANT to play.( or the one that fits the team/ character)
@dannypleshek79417 жыл бұрын
Pros usually look at what a certain hero/card brings to a match at any given stage. In this particular instance, Tainted Magic is a burn card that benefits from being active over long periods of time. The burn doesn't provide much burst, but if it can be applied multiple times over a long period, the damage stacks up. The reason Greystone can use TM is because he is a super tank that sticks around for a long time in fights. Greystone being able to proc TM with his Make Way and Reforged gives him all the damage he needs in one card, allowing the Greystone to build 5 tank cards, and only one offense card (TM). This is the thought process that pros will use for any card/hero interaction, because sometimes a great synergy isn't the obvious one.

I don't think so. Honestly if he hadn't been that serious with his team then they would have kept making bad decisions. Plus I'm pretty sure he's the team lead, so yea I'd be pissed too if someone got called out and didn't bother to pay attention to what was being said over chat.
@marcuss46977 жыл бұрын
Not really. Like Savior said, he's the team caller, he makes the decisions for the plays. If you noticed, Ace is also very quiet, trying to only pass on useful information for the team. If they didn't have these pillars, there'd be more fuck ups and communication errors.
@failbook10187 жыл бұрын
Savior666 But it's just a scrim, and he's gets so worked up, what happened to the fun?
