Whether it’s vegetarianism or veganism, Taiwan has proven to be a “Veggie Island” (aka a country that’s friendly to all who are vegetarian or vegan). For all who frequently put in search terms like “vegetarian restaurants near me” or “best vegan restaurants to try,” this episode is for you!
In this episode, Canadian KZbinr Luke Martin brings along Taiwanese actress, singer and host Aggie Hsieh to try out the top 5 vegetarian dishes in Taipei. Taipei (and Taiwan in general) hosts a plethora of vegan-friendly options, so the ones presented today are just the tip of the iceberg. Nevertheless, whether it’s vegetarian laksa, vegan sandwiches, vegan desserts or a vegetarian breakfast burrito-esque apple pie roll, Luke and Aggie are in for a treat!
