Would like your take on the QB room forecast - starters / yr: Klubnik in '24, Klubnik in '25? Pearman in '26?, CV in '27, Hebert in '28, Reynolds '29? Can we have that kind of QB run / success? Or, Dani's first transfer to be a star QB in '26? Or, someone in '27 class going to be a bang up recruit? Thoughts? Thanks.

Seems like our QB recruiting has fallen off a cliff. We're not even in the running for the top10 type guys anymore. I guess thats what happens when you show a track record of failing to develop. Need to bring in an experienced QB coach.

I think the reason Clemson isn’t getting that top 10 QB talent is those top 10 QB’s are immediately expecting a a seven figure deal..I think Garrett Riley is a good QB coach so I don’t concur on coaching.

@@walterridgely6855yeah the money thing sure is a deal breaker with a lot of the recruiting. But also the competition is running with how Clemson isn’t developing the offensive talent. It’s probably a bit of both view points. Cade is stuck in a rut not improving much. Offensive line coaching hasn’t been up to par either. Proof is in the play on the field. It needs more work.

@@walterridgely6855 I agree with both of you. I'm not knocking Riley just yet, but his first year was unimpressive at best. My comment about bringing in an experienced QB coach was more referring to the fact that, for some reason, Clemson refuses to separate QB coach from OC. We have money... why not hire an experienced, proven, professional QB coach to develop our QBs? Let the OC focus on the offense as a whole instead of always lumping the two jobs together like we're on a tight budget.

I’m Sorry but this is a hell no the the dude is a baseball player and isn’t a pitcher he’s a shortstop we better be taking another Qb or hitting the portal because I don’t see anything besides a rocket arm the dude I get development is key but he isn’t going to be a Starter until probably his senior year and will hit the transfer portal if he want Playing Time I hope he commits somewhere else because he ain’t it

He just finished his sophomore year in high school. The young fella has plenty of time to develop. He already has the size, and a strong arm. Playing short stop he brings good athleticism to the QB position too.

That not what I mean the dude is top 30 Recruit in Baseball and More than likely he guaranteed a first to Second Round MLB Draft Pick I Personally don’t think it’s mark to gamble on one QB who a project at best and I’m sorry but Clemson is making a huge mistake Cause more than likely from what I’ve seen his mind is sold on baseball and the Houston Astros, Atlanta Braves and the Nee York Mets have shown interest in this kid so more than likely he going to play baseball as a shortstop so if we don’t Flip one of these top QB Commits then we’re Cooked Because If Dabo doesn’t want to use the Portal then we’re stuck with Hebert, Pearman And gods knows who cause Vizzina is Garbage unless the dude went 3-8 and lost 56-0 and Threw 11 Ints and fumbled the ball more time than Cade did last year so I’m not sold

@@hunterporth3302 from what insiders are saying he would like to play football more. I don’t believe the staff would’ve picked him if they truly believed he was picking baseball.
