Taiwan hit by strongest earthquake in 25 years

A 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Taiwan early on Wednesday morning.
Three people among a group of seven on an early-morning hike were crushed to death by boulders loosened by the earthquake, officials said.
Separately, a truck driver died when his vehicle was hit by a landslide as it approached a tunnel in the area.

Ive experienced an m7.8 earthquake. Lasted 2 minutes flat. Took out 2 of 3 arterial routes of the south island of nz. They are no fun. The fear of aftershocks was overwhelming at times. My respects to everybody affected by this event.
