DPP Lai's win in Taiwan's 🇹🇼 presidential contest is a win for Taiwanese people and a loss for the Chinese regime.

No party has won the 57 seats needed to command a majority in the 113-seat legislative Yuan. The main opposition KMT has won 52 seats. The DPP won 51 seats, while the TPP won 8 seats. The other two seats were claimed by independent candidates. William Lai's win, with a little over 40% of the votes, makes him a president who cannot "claim a mandate or majority", according to Shelley Rigger, Professor of East Asian Politics at Davidson College.

A relief to know the people of Taiwan chose independence and did not cave to CCP pressure and intimidation. However the KMT party still collected an awful lot of votes. Hopefully those that voted for reunification (submission) are the older generation and will eventually fade away.

It seems to me the result was clear as day months ago. The other two candidate brings very little on to the table. Tsai did a great job to form alliance with a lot of strategic countries, such as India, Japan, and even the Philippines. Taiwan is the center piece of the first island chain that is too important to be lost for the US. Taiwan did a great job to show the world how useless WHO was. Taiwan showed to the Chinese people under CCP in China that they can live without fear and enjoy prosperity were they dethrone the dictator. Taiwan showed its importance in semiconductor chips manufacturing, which is the root of the tech tree of 22 century. Can you imagine how 20 million people achieved this remarkable feat regardless the pressure from China? Fight on!

Congrats to the Taiwanese 🇹🇼 who are enjoying freedom and prosperity - while 1.4 billion Chinese have no rights to speech, and half are still under poverty, without clean water or toilets. - Chinese people want to be Taiwanese.

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”

Well, I didn't know a candidate can win even he only gets 43% compare to others. In Indonesia, a candidate must win 50% + 1 vote to become a president. I mean, if someone only get 43% to win, that mean, there are 57% of taiwanese who didn't vote and support him (i.e. majority).

However, I still suggest that the green forces on the island should not provoke the old Communist Party. When the old Communist Party has no retreat, it will probably have to play with you for real, even if it is not sure of taking over Taiwan for the time being. The whole island, under great pressure, could only fight to the death. At that time, even if the old Communist Party loses, it will definitely continue to launch a second, third, and endless offensive against Taiwan. Fighting is nothing more than fighting for resources and money. As long as the resources are not completely consumed, the Lao Communist Party will continue to attack Taiwan endlessly until it takes over Taiwan. There is no doubt about this, because the Lao Communist Party has no choice. Is this kind of ending really what the green and lovely people of Taiwan want? The cruel reality is that democracy and freedom are good things, but if you think that democracy and freedom can save your life, it is completely the most democratic and free injustice. What is certain is that once mainland China switches to a democratic system, the mainland's desire to conquer Taiwan will become even stronger. Once the People's Congress passes a war order, no one can stop it. Unlike now, Boss Xi can still fool the people of the country casually, just pretending. Get some planes to fly around Taiwan Island. Remember, within the system of the Lao Communist Party, Mr. Xi is actually considered a pro-Taiwan person. Under current political conditions, Mr. Xi is likely to be the last pro-Taiwan figure within the Lao Communist Party system. Don’t imagine that the United States will sacrifice its life to help you. The United States is unreliable. The United States betrayed your great Republic of China once in 1949, and the Communist Party did not promise any benefits to the United States at that time. You can still accuse the United States unjustly now. Will not beauty betray you again? Laos has many benefits that are attractive enough to Laos and the United States in exchange for them. Taiwan has nothing more than some ideological and security interests for Laos and the United States, but the Lao Communist Party is very likely to provide Lao America with life-threatening benefits in exchange, so that it will have enough motivation to betray your great Republic of China again. We really have to wait until the day when the green and lovely islanders break up with the old Communist Party. Taiwan compatriots, where should you go? I'm afraid you need to think clearly. When that day comes, there is no need to worry. The world is so big, there will be a place for the green and lovely islanders. Quickly pack up your luggage and look to the southwest. In the south of Yunnan, there is a rich land. Now there is a group of people of the same species as you. They have already conquered a country. I hope to use your help to continue to move this country southward. There is no big problem in advancing to the Indian Ocean. It is a land more than ten times larger than Taiwan. It is beautiful and fertile, has a pleasant climate, and has never experienced natural disasters such as earthquakes and tsunamis. Lovely ones, you go there and build the country. With your talents and deep wealth, in a few years, the beautiful Republic of China will definitely regain its past glory.
