Pasionfruit in the West? More education for you is needed, young man! Here in Australia we have grown this fruit for well over 150 years… Seeing as the Chinese settled in South Australia almost before the white man did; and Italy has grown this fruit for centuries… When you say the West, you are really insulting the globe by meaning AMERICA! My favourite tropical fruit is “Monsterio Delisciosa.” It is green and shaped like and cross between an ear of corn (the kernels) and a cucumber. It has a flavour to my palette similar to say a custard pineapple. Hence the name. Safe travels by the way.
