This was a wonderful tour, and I'm so happy for you two. My husband and I are planning to visit Taiwan next year to see if it would be a good place to retire. We thought Thailand would be great, but we just learned about the terrible air pollution problems it has, not to mention the extreme heat and humidity issues. We are also foodies, which is why Thailand seemed perfect for us. However, upon researching Taiwan, it appears they also have a rich food diversity at prices close to Thailand's famous affordability. The only thing that concerns me is our rental budget, which is currently $1,500 USD monthly for a 2 bedroom, excluding utilities. So I’ll be following you to see how you like it there and hope you show more rentals with prices. One piece of advice to make your channel really successful is to please post the prices of whatever you do, whether it's car rides, entertainment, food, or drinks. It really helps us expats budget and avoids people asking in the comments section. Wishing you all the best on your new adventure!😉👍

It makes our day and we'd like to help if we can! You're right that rent can be expensive here. We looked for permanent apartments in central Taipei (that video will come out in a couple weeks), though we've heard that places outside of that area (even New Taipei City) are much more affordable so that may be something to consider.

What's the cost for a month (a 1 bedroom for example? or 2 bedroom)? Their website doesn't list prices

Hi, my company handled the contract directly so I don't know the exact price. However, I stayed in a comparable serviced apartment in Taipei 5 years ago, and the same room type was ~US$4,000/month.
