Taiwanese Seafood Tour | Crab Madness + Cheapest Sashimi in Donggang | BEST Street Food In Taiwan

In todays video, we are traveling to the area of Donggang which is about an hour and 30 minutes away from the city of Kaohsiung. It is a popular place known for its amazing seafood.
And the place we are visiting is called the Huaqiao Fish Market which is basically the equivalent of Tsukiji Market in Japan but the Taiwan version. Here in this market, you'll find all kinds of amazing and fresh seafood being sold as well as restaurants selling the cheapest fish possible.
I will show you a tour of this market in all its glory as well as showcase some of the vendors that sell the cheapest sashimi you'll ever find. We also buy some fish and bring it to a restaurant to be cooked.

Hey Wayne! Another awesome video man thank you so much for showing us around. As another KZbinr mentioned it’s great to see the transparency in terms of pricing because wow some of those items were extremely expensive and not some thing I would consider at first sight. But overall the market looked very interesting and it’s definitely on my list to check out when I visit!

The "weird" shrimp is called the Mantis Shrimp. In Cantonese culture, we call it the "Urinating shrimp" because it will shoot water at you when you pick it up. In Hong Kong, it is one of the more expensive shrimp and there is a special technique to eat it.
