thank for demystifying the place. it corresponds with my memories, which go way beyond this huge hall with people singing. what would the place be without the people? not even a beautiful church.. just one of many charming and calm French villages in the middle of the beautiful nowhere #stillnessspeaks

How it has changed from when I visited as a young person from the UK in the early 1960s?

Unfortunately my first time was in the 90s, so i am only able to tell you what changed since then. They built a lot of new barracks for the young people, they built new bigger tents (3:07) , planted some trees for shade near the dining area and the tents (2:00), some nice new walls to sit on around the tents (2:00) , isolated smoking areas, removed the parking lot in front of the oyak (imbiss shop) and put extra tables there (10:07) and a lot more. In short, they improved it a lot and made it even more attractive to young people

It is a Polish version of this song. I am not sure which one is oryginal. For me it doesn't really matter. I like to hear different versions at the same time. It makes the Spirit ofTaize.

Beautiful video - but you shouldn't record during the prayers. You disturbed the people sitting behind you, and those sitting in front of you didn't consent to being on video. Prayer is something very personal. I was quite disappointed by the number of people filming in church this year. I understand the desire to take something of Taizé with you, but this behaviour is really impolite and disrespectful. Someone even held their phone camera directly in my face while I was lighting their candle on Saturday night.

Tak z samej ciekawości. Kiedy w Taize nawoływano do schizmy? Czy wtedy gdy brat Roger spotykał się z Janem Pawłem II czy wtedy kiedy z matką Teresą. A może po prostu ktoś nie wie o czym mówi bo nie rozumie tematu. Myślę że pobyt w Taize mógłby być pomocny. Serdecznie pozdrawiam ( bez ironii)
