Vauxhall Mokka X 2016 First generation J13;2012-2020 (Opel Mokka X)
You will need:
A replacement H7 halogen bulb (check your vehicle's manual for the correct type of bulb)
Gloves (optional)
A clean cloth
Steps:
Turn off the engine and remove the key from the ignition.
Open the hood of your Mokka X by pulling the lever located below the dashboard on the driver's side.
Locate the headlamp assembly that needs the bulb replaced. The dipped beam bulb should be on the outer edge of the headlamp.
Reach behind the headlamp assembly and locate the bulb holder at the back of the headlamp.
Press down on the wire clip that secures the bulb holder in place.
While holding down the clip, pull the bulb holder out of the headlamp assembly.
Gently remove the old bulb from the holder by pulling it straight out. Be careful not to touch the glass part of the new bulb with your fingers, as this can cause it to burn out prematurely.
Insert the new bulb into the holder, making sure it is securely in place.
Reinsert the bulb holder into the headlamp assembly, while still pressing down on the wire clip.
Release the wire clip to lock the bulb holder in place.
Double-check that the bulb is securely installed, and then turn on the headlights to make sure they are working properly.
If everything looks good, close the hood of your Mokka X.
And that's it! Remember to always consult your vehicle's manual for specific instructions and bulb type recommendations.
