Tajweed

Tajweed is an Arabic term that means "proficiency" or "doing something well." In the context of the Quran, Tajweed refers to the set of rules governing the pronunciation during the recitation of the Quran. The purpose of Tajweed is to ensure that the Quran is recited with proper pronunciation, rhythm, and intonation, as it was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad.
