No wonder my second Tak is taking so long to arrive. Amazing work. I hope they have some apprentices in the background.

ありがとうございました。 日本語が少しわかります。 (マンガのファン(字幕))…でも、なかなかわかりませんでした;)残念ながら今回は字幕がありませんでした。 そして、レンズの製造に関する部分が非常に短いのは残念です。 Merci.

Hi Francis, original program was broadcasted in 2009. I asked a friend of mine in Japan to record them and he sent me Blu-ray disk years ago. If I find the original disk, I have higher resolution video :)

@@tamijihomma8776 WAh! I have already translated half of the video, after the remaining half and adjustments at the precise moments in the minutes it will be ready. Thanks, what you say would be great. Takahashi telescopes are more revered than one expects.

Fascinating video! I just took ownership of a beautiful TOA-130, the same type of scope being built in this video. It's amazing to see how they are built by hand, gives me even more honor of owning one.

Yes, they are proud of that they keep their traditional method going. It is very hard work specially hot summer. They keep going :)

My dad met the owner of takahashi when he was travelling in japan and it is amazing to see the factory he visited 25 years ago in action.

My home in Japan is about 15 miles from Takahashi factory. I've never visited them yet. Someday, I would like to visit them and say "Thank you" :)

Thank you for comment. As far as I know, English translation wasn't made for this video. There are a few other KZbin video available. The Takahashi factory is about 10 miles away from my home in Japan but I have never visited them yet.
