Saw them open for Al Jarreau in Milwaukee in the 80s. They were basically unknown at the time, but by the second tune, the audience was clearly showing them some love. To quote Mr. Jarreau himself; "Those guys are so good, they make me talk to myself on the way home". I couldn't have said it better.

Legendary group! Exquisite harmony! Perfect blend! It’s one of the prettiest a capella songs ever. And the promise of the words in the song by the savior are so fulfilling! I feel like the lord is pleased with every note of this song.

@@Chicasueca79 That’s not an auto tuning issue. That’s very clearly a volume setting issue.

That's the thing. Even with the bad mix they sound amazing.

Mervyn really outdid himself with this one. I’m not religious, but listening to this is what I imagine the Holy Spirit feels like. Thank God for Take 6.

I was lucky enough to hear about them in 2014 (or maybe earlier)... I was 12 and I have loved them ever since . Their talent is unbelievable. They inspire me and they are the ones who set the standards for me. :)

Cedric's notes are insanely cooperative and hidden gems of jazz and blues. 3:14 - 3:36.

Must comment that this is one of my favorites of take 6 and hated when Mervin was no longer apart of the group. I would be in tears listening to this song while it ministered to me when I was in the streets of Chicago back when they 1st came out. Don’t know if u guys know how those 1st two cassettes u released deeply ministered to certain people and how the love of the Father and the Son was wonderfully displayed through your songs’ Even though I was in the streets I had God and the things my great grandmother had instilled in me as a child which was the fear of God and I also had song. I 1st heard take 6 early one morning after I had a midnight studio session because I was writing and producing circular music at the time however my cousin drove that night and after the session we were in our way home early morning around 6 am I fell asleep and dreamed I heard angels singing to me and when I woke up it was take 6 ( Get away Jordan ) playing on the radio.
