I own nothing - I read somewhere that Joey Kibble only had like 2 weeks to learn his songs when Merv left, this could have been around that time.

If he was thrown, the Son of God was there with him, just as Jesus was in the fire with the three Hebrew boys.😊

I was at this concert in Gotanda in 1991! I met all the members in the show backstage after the concert. It was nearly the highlight of my 25 years in Japan. There were other concerts as well - JB, Chuck Rainey, Buddy Williams, Stevie Wonder, Roberta Flack, many, many others. It was wonderful-my 25 years in Japan. I was a non-military U.S. civilian who was enjoying my life in Japan.

I think that it was an earlier concert that I saw because Melvyn Warren was not in this version of Take-6. He was there up front and in the center of the concert I saw. They are still top rate. Others that I saw include Patrice Rushen, Nudge, George Duke, The Brothers Johnson, Bobby Bland (who called me backstage after the show to ask "how a brother was treated." I list goes on and on. Skeet Curtis, Bernie Worrell the list goes on and on! My 25 years there was something else!

Date is given at the start of the concert - 4th December, so Joey would've been in the group for a while. This date makes sense as another concert in Japan on December 2nd has been confirmed elsewhere. Plus there are Christmas songs included in this set.
