Evan's attitude is legit. I wish I could at least seem this calm, cool, and collected all the time. He seems like a legit good dude, you would want to kick it with, yet torch you down the trail while trying to pick up some lessons. Orbea got a GREAT ambassador for their brand when he was selected.

I think the Pinkbike Academy is a great platform to increase awareness and eyes on the EWS race scene; much the way The Ultimate Fighter TV show helped promote the UFC and it's athletes. People take a greater interest in athletes they know something about and having personable, likeable people like Evan Wall represent the sport makes me want to follow the standings and root for this guy to make the most of the opportunity he was given.

So at least 2 of the new pink bike academy contenders are direct friends with Evan Wall (surprised but not shocked)... Bryan has a yeti contract and is still racing for them. Guess it is all to Flo or Emmet to win the prize, I bet my money on Flo though.
