Best of luck saving this historical building, Marc. It is so wonderful to know people are caring passionately about our cultural history...I really hope you can bring this place back to life for a new generation.

It actually reopened as Revivals , then had the name change a few years later... The room at the top front of building you show, it was myself who painted it black. we used as it for band practise when erica had it. 31 years ago!!!

So sad to see the auditorium like that, where once it would have been so plush and elegant and full of laughter. It this what will happen to all our theatres now if Covid cannot be controlled? Very sad

Probably will be left to ruin until it falls down and then gets more bloody flats erected...

I have been inside there before it was a club. Then years later when it was a club, I had many many messy nights there . There was a guy in there that was just a slimy creep though, one of those guy's that will have anything. In fact someone I know bought a sofa off him last week and he was bragging that he goes with ladyboys in Thailand. I can't remember what his name was but he was almost part of the furniture for years ,I think it was wigler or wiggy or something...anyway he was one creepy guy, I used to pity anyone I saw with that guy. There was a few characters in there for sure
