Due to the explosion of diabetes, start selling sugar-free and low carb versions!!! Just walk around a Walmart store to notice all the Keto, low carb, and sugar-free products for sale.

Never mentioned here but our family loved the pecan shakes. The toys always got our attention. Stopping at a Stuckey's was a highlight of my childhood travels. Cherished memories. I just mentioned missing Stuckey's a couple days ago when driving past an old Stuckey's building, now a Baskin Robbins on the way from Manhattan Kansas to Kansas City Missouri. 🥰

I’m pretty sure I stopped at These as a kid between Indiana and Florida. A fun aspect of Americana, I hope they bring it back

we always stopped there on our way to Florida - orange blossom "perfume" in a plastic orange container, collapsible cups, rain hats in a tiny pocketbook and rubber alligators. So fun.

Our dad used to comically proclaim aloud "Stuckey's. With the sparkling potties !" whenever we pulled into one along I 95 on our way driving up to Binghamton NY to see our grandparents. Did anyone buy a Board of Education paddle ?!

There used to be one I looked forward to seeing in Pennsylvania. It was just a bit north from Roadside America. Both are gone now. The Stuckeys' is now a Loves', and Roadside America's owner/operator passed away leaving the building to dilapidate and become an eyesore along the highway.

I remember the road trips my Mom and Dad and I took during my childhood in the 70's, and my teen years in the 80's, and stopping at Stuckeys. Those were the days! You could stop there to buy gas for your car, have lunch, use the restroom if you needed to, and browse around the gift shop. And those pecan logs! Oh my gosh! Those pecan logs were the best! I remember back in the summer of 1987 when I was 18 - almost 19 years old, my Mom and Dad and aunt and uncle and I were on a road trip to Nashville, Tennessee. On the way home, we stopped at a Stuckey's to have lunch. It was my Mom's birthday, and I was browsing around the gift shop to find something to buy her for her birthday. I found this cute little koala figurine holding a pink balloon with the words "HAPPY BIRTHDAY' on it. I bought it for her and gave it to her when we all got back in the car and got back down the road. She loved it, and all these years later, she still has it. I'm glad that Stuckey's is making a comeback after all these years. The younger generations can experience the same thing that those of us from the older generations experienced, and have special memories many years later.

I don't know why, but the name Stuckey's popped into my head a few minutes ago and I found this video. I remember fondly travelling from Ontario to Florida in the back seat of my parents Dodge Dart, bored out of my skull, and then seeing the Stuckey's billboard on the side of I-75.! Oh those pecan log rolls were so good! I hate to admit how long ago that was, but it was 50 years ago!! Best of luck to Stephanie Stuckey!!

My favorite thing I bought from a Stuckey’s was a copper figurine of a young colt. Kept that for years! But it was so nice to look at EVERYTHING in that store after the bathroom break.
