Hello again. Im still working on this. Ive transitioned to a tenor recorder so ive had to re-learn eveything i play in the key of C. Im too old to remember all the fingerings in both C and F key so it has to be one or the other.....and i do enjoy the lower tones of the tenor. ANYWAY, Im back on track now so ive started working on Take Five again. As promised, i will make a recording and send a link when i get this accomplished. Ive listened to most of your recordings, you are a very talented musician, thanks for the inspiration. In the meantime, heres something i recorded on the alto before my transition to tenor. Its a piece by the Italian composer Ennio Morricone who composed several well known pieces for the 'spaghetti' westerns of the 1960's ( so called because they were produced by an Italian movie producer, I believe). thank you for watching and thank you for your compliment on my playing. Ive only been playing for about 3 years. started on the soprano, then switched to an alto so I had to learn everything in F, now switched to a tenor so its relearning everything back in C again. 8 ) What an adventure. Its going well...i can already play everything in my repertoire on the tenor. Learning 'Take 5' is a new piece for me so thats learning from the beginning. I work on it every time i play so it wont be long until i can play it in proper timing. It is also nice to make your acquaintance and i would look forward to playing together some day. Maybe on Google Meet or Zoom. That would be fun. Thank you for your friendship. My wife and I are born again believers in Jesus Christ and living in United States. that is lovely. i wish i can find the music for alto recorder. i read in the comments below you dont have the music, so I wont bother to ask again. Could you tell me if youre recorder has Baroque or German fingering, then I will try to learn from watching your fingering as you play. This inspires me to learn this song.

Thank you for a good look :)🙏🏻 The only original recorders were baroque recorders. German-style recorders are only found on soprano recorders improved for educational use. So, besides the soprano recorder, you can learn and play other types of recorders in the baroque way!

@@muse._.v Hello felllow recorder player. I play a yamaha YRA 312B lll alto recorder. it sounds pretty nice but not as nice as the wood recorder you play. I have been able to get most of the notes from watching your video in slow motion. I was able to find sheet music for the piano but seeing you play it really helps. I'll need a few weeks to get the speed and the rythym down, but I am definitely making progress. when i accomplish this tune i will send you a link to my youtube channel so you can listen if you like. thanks again, God bless you.

She's using a 415 alto!! Perfect for avoiding excessive cross fingering because E minor (415) sounds like Eb minor at 440 (and Eb minor requires moe cross fingering because it has 6 flats while E minor only has 1 sharp). ❤
