Like that throw to Zay Jones or the one to Wilson the week before. Teams generally scheme against it with deep safeties. I'm okay with 90% of the Petzing offense. It's the lack of apparent ability to adapt that bugs me. I do believe that the total game plan includes risk-based decisions. Both the Cards and Vikings callee their game that way last week. Once the Cards went up 19-6, I knew the Vikings would unshackle themselves. The Cards lost that final battle. They were close. They pushed them to 4th down conversion.

@ I believe that there's a total game plan that includes risk management. Also, the Cards need to legitimize the threats of other WRs and TEs as they did against the Vikings. Otherwise, teams double or zone MHJ and make that connection hard. In the big picture, the Cards are on schedule with expectations with a 6-6 record. If they knock off the Patriots and Panthers, that's 8 Ws. One or two more division wins and they hit my prediction for '24.

There is more than that. Weather conditions won't an issue. The field goes from artificial to real grass. Crowd noise will be different for teams. Players coming back from injuries. It also hard to beat a team twice in two week span playing each other.

Cardinals are better coached on Offense. I think they get revenge bcuz Grubb is the WORST OC in the NFL. And I watch EVERY 20 MINUTE game recap EVERY week. 4-5 hrs per week and Grubb is horrendous!

I'm a seahawk fan and not winning the division isn't an indictment against Arizona at all. The Seaahwks have a better roster overall. They've had at least three good drafts in a row now. The in season moves on defense have turned that unit around it appears. Arizona has a really good coaching staff and the defense is likely one offseason away. I think the fact that the defense is getting so much done is a sign of the coaching being so good. No matter what happens for the rest of this season the Cardinals are going to continue to get better and be a real challenge going forward.

You act like Cardinals have no shot at division and Hawks going to take it. Both can win it or lose it. Rams may take it. 49ers have many issues and brutal schedule but still not out. I want to point out that the 2018 49ers went 4-12. They weren't good but shown flashes how good they can be (close losses). In 2019 season they won division with a 13-3 record. Went all the to Superbowl. I'm not saying Cardinals are going to be 2019 49ers but they shown flashes last season (Played tough and beat 3 playoff teams.) This season they played better than expected in 2nd year rebuild especially when first 9 games was 2nd hardest schedule in NFL. They are a great position to win division. Beat Hawks for 3-1 division record with a more favorable schedule in comparison to division rivals.

I also left room for any outcome when I said "moving forward" comment. Would Arizona not winning the division be an indictment against the coaching staff for you? You have some valid points. And since you're going pretty far back then don't forget free agent Lomas Brown, Bertrand Berry, Chike Okeofor, Karlos Dansby. ( I know AZ drafted him but he left and later came back in free agency ) JJ watt. And how about the greatest Free agent AZ ever singed a guy by the name of Kurt Warner. And BTW, Marvin Jr will be fine. For fuck sake. The great Calvin Johnsons rookie year included 48 rec. 750 yards and 5 TD. The Great Larry Fitzgeralds rookie year included 59 rec 780 yards and 8 TDs. Marvin Jr so far his rookie season includes 41 rec. 606 yards and 7 TDs. Just sayin. As far as Kyler goes, he's still the best draft pick AZ has ever had.. how much is that saying? Well. It's now or never.. if the Cardinal have ever had a must win game its now..Sunday at home against Seattle. I'm still optimistic.. I still believe. In kyler and in this team.. if you don't, then find another team.
