I’m back with another vlog! Montana might just be the most beautiful place I have ever been. Scenic places like this can never be done justice through a vlogging camera, but nonetheless I hope you guys find this vlog relaxing and enjoyable! *Time stamp links are in the description box because it’s a long one!* Also this vlog is definitely more slow-paced compared to some of my others, but I wanted to upload it anyway for my own personal records and for anybody else who might be interested. Just a friendly PSA: Honey is actually a really good and bee friendly industry to support as long as the honey you're buying and eating is from local bee keepers :) the bees are allowed to roam freely and they don't smoke the hives to get the honey out, plus bees make a lot of honey that they don't end up needing so they aren't hurt by humans taking some! Plus supporting local beekeepers helps the overall bee population because they provide safe homes for the bees and they are predator free! So support your local bee keepers and feel free to eat local honey (and also local honey can help with seasonal allergies because of the pollen!)

you should come to New Zealand! here we have amazing landscape in both North and South islands; the west coast of the south island is particularly beautiful, fiords, mountains, glaciers, and caves with glow worms! plus here we have vegan places too, you should check it out! Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch offer the best places for vegan foods do.

Hello Sofie! I'm really interested to know how you plan your holiday/traveling to other country, especially on finding vegan food. Because from what I see on your video, it seems like you and your sister already have a definitive plan on where to eat and where to find the best vacation places. How many days did you spend to do research? What will you do when your vacation doesn't work the way you plan it? I'm sorry for the long question. It's just that I'm curious about it since I don't travel to other country a lot like you do :)

Hey! my research for the LA portion is made very easy as I follow a ton of vegan instagram accounts (you can see who I follow on my food insta, chowdownvegan) and many of them are located in LA. so if I'm going to LA, I've usually Liked or saved posts from those accounts of cafes/restaurants I want to visit. for the Montana portion (we also went to Vegas this trip) I would just use good ol' google and Happy Cow :) one of my handy tricks is to put words in quotations in google, as it narrows down your search results to articles that have to contain that word or phrase - e.g. one entry might say: "big sky" "vegan" - exactly like that with the quotations. Then I enter all these food locations on a custom google map (My Maps) and use it to help plan our days. But yes, sometimes plans change because restaurants turn out to be closed for the season or closed down entirely, we don't have time to visit them, they're too far away etc. I really need to make a whole video about this haha

I'm from North Idaho and just started easing into a vegan diet. I struggle with finding snacks and meals when I go out because I live in such a small city and I'm surrounded by other small cities that just don't offer vegan options. My coworkers for example didn't even know what "vegan" meant. I've considered ordering online and from iherb. Anyway, I live for your videos! Please upload more often 😊

that's wonderful! and yes, iHerb is a lifesaver for snacks and many other kinds of foods. also try looking up all the health food stores in your area and spend time really scouring the shelves. places like that often have vegan items! even major US supermarkets stock vegan products. the fact that you live in the US is already a huge advantage. there's just a TON more vegan brands there (daiya, gardein, follow your heart, amy's - we have them here, just harder to find and way more expensive cos imported). btw for dining-out, the app Happy Cow is super useful at showing you restaurants with vegan/veg options nearby ^_^

thank you :~) I usually buy ripe bananas while traveling as I like to be able to eat them immediately as a snack. I don't eat overripe bananas either because they're too mushy. I save those for baking! I like them at that perfect spotty stage, but depends on the type of banana too (btw be careful with underripe bananas as they don't digest as easily!)
