Ah, the "A Targaryen... alone in the world. It's a terrible thing." quote always hits me. Such a good use of the quote. I've always seen both Jon and Dany so hurt and lonely after Ygritte and Drogo's deaths, as if something broke inside of them. Lone Targaryens... this is why I find their interaction and attraction to eachother so beautiful. I truly think they can find happiness together. I know, it's GoT and all, but I can't help but wish for it. Every person has their flaws (especially in GoT), but I believe these 2 are one of the better characters of the show, and I'm rooting for them. I love the video.

Nymeria I liked the ending of your video as well. Just Dany walking towards Jon - a metaphor for them getting closer and closer. I saw some other edits about the 2 of them always ending with them holding hands, or him calling her his queen, but I find this much more fitting for the status of their relationship - still developing.

Exactly, and I love the idea of them being equals in this partnership, other than just a couple or a romantic relationship. Was trying to convey that by showing these shots, and also like you said, because it is still a developing bond between them :)

Yeah, there's nobody else who could be equal to Dany in my eyes. In fact, imo after he chose to stay behind so Dany, her children and his companion could escape the Night King, and after the numerous scars she saw on Jon's body... she understood how selfless he is. I think her saying "I hope I deserve it." to him calling her his queen shows how highly she thinks of him at this point. I also liked that she didn't cry about Viserion in front of anybody else, but Jon. Despite just losing a child she stood by him, and as soon as he opened his eyes and spoke she broke down and cried. I think her feelings were mixed with happiness he woke up, and sadness for her child. Many people have said the script for season 7 is badly written, but I strongly disagree. Their interactions have been so beautifully written, every look, gesture, word... says so much more if you choose to look closely. Oops, got a little carried away with my thoughts. Regardless, I'm looking forward for a video from you after the last episode if you plan on doing one. I don't know if you've read the leaked scripts and I won't spoil, but I'll be checking your channel for another video, because I think you'd be tempted to do another one.

Nymeria Nice. I'd say take your time in making it. I see people rushing to edit and make something of the new episode, but they sacrifice in the quality department that way. The support is deserved. While superb editing skills are appreciated, I look for the thought put behind the montage and the understanding of the story/relationship, not just the flashy effects.

Daenerys and Jon roman is very different than anything Daenerys had and is critical for the development of her character. Her first 'Love' was someone that for the most of their time together she didn't speak with (language gap), and when she already learnt to master his language there was only very basic communication between them and little if at all in common. He raped her, forced himself on her, and she learnt to adjust. It wasn't real love, and it wasn't romantic. Daenerys didn't love Dario or had any romantic feelings towards him, I didn't like this part of her. Jon is the first person she learn to love, beside for that she can understand him and have good communication with, he's everything she want to see in herself- he's selfless, willing to sacrifice without hesitation for the greater good, extremely brave and his people following him for what he's though he's pretty naive and far from being cunning politician. Like Daenerys, he started as underdog. Unlike her other partners, he's not very confident with women. This means that he grew mainly in men world, far from luxuries. He's a man. He climbed not because he was ambitious or forceful, he was neither, there is something in him. A destiny that people acknowledge before he does. This is what Daenerys see in herself, this is what she want to be, this is why Jon is so different from others she had relations with. It should be her greatest, and in fact her only, real love. Unlike with Drogo, here it's her choice to start romantic relationship. Something she didn't have before. She's embarrassed in front of Jon though she's far from shy or inconfident. She's feeling like little girl fall in love in front of him, not dragon queen, with Drogo her all affair was around that he would make her the queen of Westeros, nothing deep. Jon and Daenerys are at the same age, she was born around the time the mad king (her father) was killed, at around the same time Rehagar (Jon's father, Daenerys brother) was killed too and Jon was born. Drogo was significantly older than Daenerys and resembles her in nothing. Jon is like a mirror for Daenerys, her internal personality (in the books she has two personalities- the real one is of a mellow girl, the other one is internal and uncontrolled dragon that force her to become a queen and she can't resist it) and he address this side of her personality all the time. Tyrion is always insisting that Daenerys has internal monster inside of her, that she can easily turn to be like her father. This attitude of Tyrion rooted probably in the guilt he feel for murdering his own father (as horrible as he was, Tyrion killed him out of vengeance and not in self defense) so he makes wrong comparisons and warning insecure Daenerys that if she act like she should (that is, destroy Cersei) she would become a monster. Jon, unlike all other, didn't tell Daenerys she's a monster. He told her that her father murdered his own grandfather and uncle but he also add that to the very least he assume her to be better than Cersei, he refuse to kneel but doesn't say that she's mad (Tyrion on the other hand is very fast in getting to this conclusion, as if he came from perfect and moral family) just that he still don't know her and that she's a stranger for him. That's new for her, people always were either sycophants or totally denounce her, Jon is just honest and fair (as she admitted in their first meeting) with her. She try to prove herself to him, because if he- the one person she never met like before, the bastard that become the King in the North for his heart, the most selfless person she seen, approve her, then she can know that she really deserve becoming a queen. She was extremely emotional after seeing the NK (about which existence she probably was still skeptical until then) and understanding what risks Jon was willing to take for others, also when she understood Jon really took a knife in his heart for his people, she understood that he's king from the inside, by destiny, not only by title. He is the only person ever in the show with whom she shared her insecurity about herself by saying "I hope I deserve it ", she never exposed her vulnerability and soft side this way to anyone. She was therefore very emotional when Jon called her "my queen" and told her he's willing to kneel and assured her that she deserves being a queen. They both came gradually to know each other, starting from mutual distrust. Jon came finally to the understanding that she deserve to be his queen when she came for rescue and didn't leave even after losing dragon, only when she had every living member of the crew on Drogon. He approved her that he see in her what she see in him and not sure if she find in herself, no one else could give her such approval. At that moment she really become a queen.
