Man, I was just probably 8 or 9 when I saw the movie, "Mac and me." I cried so hard at the time, though I can no longer remember the plot. Just read that it's one of those films who were criticized for ripping the story from E.T. But this movie was a precious childhood memory and I am gonna look for it again to watch it with my daughter. This song just also brings a lot of feels, too.

I'm obsessed with Mac and me!!! the plot was that a "mysterious alien creature" got sucked into a collector machine that was on a planet, his mom, dad and sister got sucked up with him and got taken to earth. he got separated from his family and met Eric, a boy suffering from spina bifida (he does in real life, I can't remember if it's said the character also suffers from it though) befriends him and helps the alien he names Mac, reunite with his own family... I think the movie is still on Tubi so go watch it!! 🙂
