My disabled son absolutly loved Jim Reeves music. It calmed him though hundreds of doctors visits and examinations and surgeries. When he passed in my arms in Feb 2018 I sung this to him. On 17/3/2017 I was born again in my bedroom after 30 years hard drugs addiction I'm now 44, I called out for help to God and he has helped get off 22 years of heroin and Coke and 50ml of methadone ((which was the hardest buy far))which I just stopped as I had tried to many times to cut down and it just never happen,which the doctors at those so-called drug rehab's said id never beable to stop methadone,and I would say to them,then why the hell did yous people put me on that junk knowing I most likely never beable to stop it, as 99% of people on methadone just kept on using heroin or tablets,I never heard them mention that obstaining from everything is the best thing,but it's there job and they don't want you getting off street drugs without you getting addict to big pharma's drugs for life,I wasn't brought up Christian and had only be in a church a few times as a child and that was to eat the food they'd give us, I still struggle with drugs and even dream that I'm taking them,but i now know I'll be battling this until the lord take's me home,i now tell other people in drug & alcohol addiction that there's help in the name of Jesus as he is more real than we will ever no.
