HOS•TILE: unfriendly. Most professing Christians are HOSTILE towards the TRUE God of the Bible due to poor or inaccurate evangelism. When they say that they LOVE Jesus, it is a Jesus that they have CREATED within their own minds, but it is definitely not the God of the Holy Bible. This is why they become extremely angry at the TRUTH when it is revealed. It does not align itself with their imaginary god. 📖 Acts 7: 54 -56 📖 54) When the members of the (church) Sanhedrin heard this, they were FURIOUS and gnashed their teeth at him. 55) But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. 56) "Look,” he said, “I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.” They were NOT furious with Stephen per se, they were FURIOUS with the TRUE God of the Bible who had spoken through Stephen!!!!! No one looses but the person who does not TRULY know Christ. (John 17:3) 📖 2 Timothy 4:4 📖 They WILL turn their ears away from the TRUTH and turn aside to myths.
