Absolutely a standard take off to the east off runway 07. Excellent video - enjoyed that.

I've flown out of Newcastle quite a bit over the years and never gone out to sea and then back inland again before heading back out over the North Sea. I'll just need to book more flights and try it again 😂

Certainly seems a strange routing. Would it be for noise abatement or to avoid any military flying in the area? Great to see some new content from you, always look forward to your videos ✈️

Thanks man….there weren’t any other aircraft in or around the vicinity and the weather was good so not sure of the reason why. Hopefully more content coming soon too

I’m no expert on routing but I certainly enjoyed the upload. Look forward to seeing more.

Basically what you have done is flew straight out east turned right in line with St Marys Lighthouse and right back inland. Im guessing you either followed the river tyne course and headed left down over Manchester OR flew over Durham and picked the same course up. Your departure path is very much like how you would land, when touching back down east to west. I certainly havent departed in this way before. The only noise problem issues i thought were you cant land west to east between 2300 and 0600 and no takeoffs west between same times.
