Mags has always been the most extrovert. They’ve never been a “performance” band - it’s always been about the music and vocals. They’ve never sold themselves as anything else.

After attending three former a-ha shows from 2001-2010 I can assure you that Morten is moving around even less than before. He still looks fit but the overall energy is a lot lower. Remarkably so in fact. To his defence he is turning 63 in september so you cannot be too harsh on him. He is singing fantastic though👏👏

True, but don’t think it is about the age…

Cant be the age when he looks like he is 40. But he have always been like This. Maybe he is sick, No one knows. He dont sit on a chair like Phil Collins yet.

If you compare him to Collins he's a superman.

This was the first a-ha show I've seen. There wasn't much interaction between band members while playing throughout the night - so it was a nice touch that Morten was shaking hands with the audience at the end of their show. Pål (guitar) seemed very subdued [but busy.] Mags seemed the most extroverted of the 3 members. Thanks for posting this.

yeah it's always been this way. Paul can be a weird distant guy. It seems he didn't like the documentary that is coming out. Had a good view from the balcony.

I'm curious, what did they play besides Take On Me? How long was the set? They're always listed as one of the top 5 one-hit-wonders on VH1.

@@jimpowers10411 a-ha are pretty big in Europe and South America, where they had more hits. Thats also a reason why they tour the United States so seldom (last time was 2010).

63? Shit Mick Jagger is moving better at 78 than most do 58. Morten does sound good. Maybe he has a nagging injury
@alexkx85992 жыл бұрын
Well, from what I can tell Jagger does work for it as in training, etc.
@rockmusicvideoreviewer8962 жыл бұрын
@@alexkx8599 Morten should work for it. He's 15 years younger. Every single singer I've seen 60+ (and that is a lot) ALL move with more energy than Morten. Something odd about him.
@trineandersen91502 жыл бұрын
Morten have never moved a lot on the stage, not in the 80-90’s either😊 That’s just the way he perform😊 Heia A-ha og Norge🇳🇴❤️

Morten doesn't have to move much, just like Mona Lisa doesn't have to smile much.
@rockmusicvideoreviewer8962 жыл бұрын
@@stephanieburns4560 Morten isn't a painting. He's a performer, performing on stage, live. But moves, like he's dead.
