Gotta admit even though Deadpool is supposed to have a lot of humor they really nailed the feeling of being lost and alone after the death of someone you love. You just want to see them again, say hello, give a hug, see them smile one more time... Though many have lost I feel like facing the death head on is the only way to move forward, never dread over what was.

@@SuperMustseetv Oh my god, that is the saddest thing... I'm so terribly sorry for your loss :( She is in a better place now for sure... looking down on you from heaven, hoping you will be able to recover from your feelings right now... and move through the five stages of grief successfully... to come out a stronger person. You have been through a lot and carry a lot of memories that haunt you... But keep in mind... these memories are what shape us into the people we are. Bad things happen in life... Good things happen too. And it's the combination of the two that make us human. Remember the good things... Cherish the happy memories you had of your daughter. Of your ex, if there were any... And accept that all things happen for a reason. All that we go through is a test of our own strength. Like a ceiling being lowered on top of you in a room. If it's about to crush you... learn to push back. And if it is too heavy... ask someone in your neighborhood to help you carry it :) Eventually, you'll have pushed it back so far, that you'll be able to stand up straight again and leave that room to move on to the next one :) Anyway, hope my metaphors spoke a little to you to inspire you to keep working hard and fight on in life ^^ Cheers from Holland :)

The words to this song are so much more meaningful in this acoustic version. To me, this song is about family - about the need to get past misunderstandings and hurt feelings when you feel you just can't connect with a loved one. Even if they shy away, never stop trying to build a bridge.

its a familiar song just slower tempo, what your feeling is reminicant feelings from the past when the song came out it was fast just like being young 30 years later its slower and just like look back on fond memories or maybe not so fond, nevertheless the mourn that you feel, or should I say sadness its for the past . I cant believe how time whips by almost in a blink, embrace everyday like its a gift because it is. take nothing for granted tell your loved ones you love them ,you never know when it could be the last time.

I've been hearing it regularly over the radio ever since I was too little to understand the lyrics, so I never paid attention. The song was just high-pitched, fast and silly. I've re-discovered it because of this version and lyric video, thank you. Talking away I don't know what I'm to say I'll say it anyway Today's another day to find you Shying away I'll be coming for your love, okay? Take on me Take me on I'll be gone In a day or two So needless to say I'm odds and ends But that's me, I'm stumbling away Slowly learning that life is okay Say after me It's no better to be safe than sorry Take on me Take me on I'll be gone In a day or two And all things that you say Is it life or just to play My worries away You're all the things I've got to remember You're shying away I'll be coming for you anyway Take on me Take me on I'll be gone In a day or two

Honestly the scene they used this song during in Deadpool 2 was so utterly heartbreaking and beautiful. The song is so perfect and romantic and gorgeously sad that it gives you such a light feeling inside of you and makes you experience such complex emotions. Honestly, this song. In my opinion the Unplugged version will always be better than the original, as this version seems more raw to me. Even while listening right now it makes me feel like I’m about to burst into tears as if something tragic or amazing has just happened to me. This song is truly a classic and the Unplugged version deserves a lot more recognition and acclaim.

But I'd hope you'd take on me, as I'd notice you for what you, an honest heartbreaking, and renewing of the mind and heart. May your soul be healed by the comfort of another.

It feels like it’s about expressing your soul and taking down your walls to someone that could die at any moment, like a sick or injured estranged family member or someone else significant. This person could be leaving because they could be dying or there will not be another moment to ever express how you feel.

@Jajuu I love Deadpool 2. I love A-ha, and I especially love this unplugged edition of "Take on me". It makes me cry everytime I see the movie or hear/watch this version because it has been with me during my most recent attempt. It will also be with me for my final guaranteed attempt.. what has happened to me, my life and whole world for the past 6 years, I wouldn't wish on the devil or my worst enemy..I've been on borrowed time long enough. -"I'll be gone, in a day or two".
